Nice, private 1 room apt.in Shin Osaka

SHIN OSAKA (JR line and midosuji subway) Private 1 room apartment on the 2nd floor of an 11 floor building. Fully furnished with everything-fridge, tv/video/dvd player, single bed (or can put a double futon in for 2 people) all bedding and pillow/s, microwave/oven/grill combo unit (only one month old), aircon/heater, closet, double gas cooker, utensils, plates/glasses/pots/pans, bath and hand towels etc. Basically everything you need. Has a small balcony.
There is a 24 hour coin laundry on the 1st floor of the building that has several washers and dryers.(200yen for each use). There are also restaurants on the 1st floor- 2 are Japanese, one is a cheap Japanese fast food shop (they have amazing yakisoba and okonimiyaki for 500yen) an Indian restaurant (with super cheap lunch sets) and a super cheap Yakiniku restaurant. There is also a kids game shop and a beauty salon.
Close to everything. Most facilities are within a few minutes on foot. 2 hospitals (one was built in 2006 and is a 10 minute walk, the other is just a few minutes on foot), 24 hour MAX VALUE supermarket (2 floors with an unbelievable selection of cheap cooked foods/meals-ideal for somebody that hates cooking like me! :) ), Sakae supermarket, a wholesale supermarket, trendy restaurants and cafes, 24 hour family restaurant, Royal host family restaurant, bento shops, chinese restaurants, starbucks, Tullys coffee shop, Mos burger, HUGE 3 floor "daiso" 100 yen shop and a smaller 2 floor 100 yen shop, HUGE shopping plaza etc.
In the station (10 mins on foot), there is also Mcdonalds, an international foods shop selling foods/groceries from the all over the world, along with around 50 other specialty shops. 2 KFC chicken shops and 2 Mister donuts shops are 10 minutes on foot.
The new Joshin electrical store and Konan home center, along with some other small shops is scheduled to open in March 2007 and is a 1 minute walk from the apt.
Shin Osaka is only about 4 or 5km to Umeda, so I would estimate about 20-25 minutes by bicycle. Juso (Hankyu line)is only about 1km away and has amazing shopping/restaurants along with supermarkets, fast food, clothes stores etc.
Shin Osaka is also an express stop for ALL shinkansen trains and regular trains , and is the home of the Airport Express train (it only takes about 40 minutes to get to Kansai airport).

RENT IS 68,000/MONTH (INCLUDES WATER AND BICYCLE PARKING) + 68,000 FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. Minimum 6 months lease. (64,000/month for a 12 month lease) There is also undercover, bicycle parking with your own private space for one bicycle included. You may have read about the guest house that we were trying to acquire in Shin Osaka. Well, we have been able to get an even BETTER and BIGGER one in Ebisucho! (1.6km from Namba, 1.5km from Nippombashi station and only a few minutes to Den Den town electrical street) The location, size and facilities far outdo the one that we planned on doing in Shin Osaka (we may still do one in Shin Osaka this year) but for now, here are the details!!!!

Available around May will be a fully renovated building (4 floors) of apartments. Although all the design details have not been finalised, the building will have the following-

HUGE rooftop balcony with BBQ area/seating area, jaccuzi/spa bath and sauna room. The other floors will have either private, lockable sleeping rooms (regular 6 tatami mat size) with shared bathroom, toilet, kitchen and living area. We will also have bigger rooms available (either private 1dk style with private toilet/bathroom/kichen but shared laundry room) or larger rooms that are suitable for couples.
ALL room will be FULLY furnished. The rooms (well the whole building) will be fully renovated. Rooms will have hardwood floors. All utilities (see below) will be included in the rental fee.

Welcome to Expat Properties Osaka. We are a very small company that provides better than average accomodation to foreigners in Osaka (Japanese also are of course welcome!!)
Having also been in Japan for a long time (almost 8 years) I understand the difficulties facing foreigners in Japan when looking for accomodation. High key money, no guarantor, no Japanese ability....
And the apartments that are available (without key money/guarantors) are not what you'd like to live in.
All that is about to change! We will be providing high quality, conveniently located apartments. We like to say 'Not your average gaijin accomodation'.
We also have had requests for cheaper, short term accomodation. We are currently organizing a guest house that will be located in Shin Osaka.
This will not be the average guest house. (Believe me, I stayed in one near Namba nearly 8 years ago and it was...well, to put it nicely, terrible.
Our plan is to make a couple of guest houses. One will be in Shin Osaka, and one will be around Umeda or Namba. The guest house will have very small (2 mats) but PRIVATE, lockable sleeping areas. Kitchen, living and bathrooms will be shared. There will be room for at least 6 people per apartment.
As with all the properties we rent, it will be spotlessly clean and close to all facilities. Rent will be around 10,000 yen/week or 35,000/month, which will include all utilities and internet.

PRIVATE APARTMENT IN HIGASHI OSAKA-NEAR KINKI UNIVERSITY

Very nice and clean 1 room apartment available in Mito.
Mito is around 15 minutes by Kintetsu line from Namba. The apartment is a private 1k with separate kitchen, bathroom/toilet and room. Very clean and cheap! It's less than 30 seconds walk to the station and near Kinki university. (Kinki university is about 7 minutes by bicycle). It is not furnished.
The kitchen is 3 mats and the room is 6 mats. Has a balcony and airconditioner. 1 apartment is tatami type and one is vinyl floor type. These apartments were recently renovated.
There is a convenience store next to the apartment, and a shopping street.

There are 2 options for this apartment.
Option 1 is- 40,000/month (includes water) + 100,000 key money (no refund).
Option 2 is 45,000/month (includes water). No key money or deposit required, but a Japanese guarantor is needed. A guarantor can be arranged (guarantor company) for 15,000 yen (one time payment)
There are 2 apartments in the same building available NOW.
To move in, you would need the first months rent (45,000) plus the 15,000 yen for the guarantor fee. (no deposit) TOTAL 60,000 YEN TO MOVE IN.
If you have a Japanese friend who can be the guarantor, you would only need the first months rent of 45,000 yen. (no deposit) TOTAL 45,000 YEN TO MOVE IN.
If you plan to stay a long time, the 40,000 yen month + 100,000 may be a good option. In this case, you would need the first months rent (40,000yen) + the key money (100,000yen) TOTAL TO MOVE IN 140,000YEN.
